Hallo Coke Sound Up Fans!
Das ging ja schon mal gut los! Im Flieger von Düsseldorf nach London habe ich die y-style-Bloggerin Christina kennengelernt, die mit mir und der Musicattack-Bloggerin Christin zusammen als deutsche Delegation zur 24h Online-Session mit Maroon 5 reisen. Sehr nette Mädels, die genauso internetsüchtig sind und jedes noch so kleine Wi-Fi-Signal nutzen. Was sich am ersten Tag als schwieriger als gedacht entpuppte. Jetzt sitzen wir endlich im legendären Metropolis Studio und die Rechner laufen heiß!
Als Warm-Up und erstes Highlight der London-Reise gab es gestern Abend ein intimes Konzert von One Night Only, die ja die aktuelle Coke Hymne "Can You Feel It" geschrieben haben. Die fünf Engländer spielten in der Hoxton Bar ihre neue Single samt "Oh-O-O-Oh"-Refrain als vorletzten Song, nachdem die vornehmlich jungen und weiblichen Fans schon zu Hits wie "Say You Don’t Want It" oder "Just For Tonight" total aus dem Häuschen waren.
Eine gute halbe Stunde später war das ziemlich laute aber wirklich feurige Konzert auch schon wieder vorbei und gerade erst vom Flughafen angereist, fuhren wir mit Koffern bepackt direkt weiter in die Grace Bar nach Soho. Dort kamen alle Blogger der 24h Online-Session aus der ganzen Welt (immerhin 20 Länder) zu einem schicken Dinner zusammen.
Mit dem Bus ging’s dann weiter ins Hotel, wo sich alle ziemlich zeitig ins Bett verabschiedeten, da uns heute ja ein phänomenaler Tag bevorsteht. Nach dem typisch englischen Frühstück ging's quer durch die riesige Stadt zur O2 Arena, wo wir uns kurz eine Ausstellung britischer Musik anschauten, bevor uns in einem italienischen Restaurant so ziemlich alle Arten von Fleisch kredenzt wurden. Von all den "mystery animals" und vor allem der HP-Sauce waren besonders die US-Blogger begeistert.
Wohl genährt und voller Spannung sitzen wir jetzt in der Blogger-Lounge des imposanten Studios und beobachten Maroon 5, wie sie Musikgeschichte schreiben und zusammen mit euch einen neuen Song aufnehmen.
